Ellen Scott

BSc(Hons), GSR, MDip SR/PT ACSM, BA(Hons)

Ellen has been working in the injury rehabilitation sector over 10 years. Initially she worked as a personal trainer in North London specialising in sports injury rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and pre/post natal training. Wanting to provide more for her patients she went back to University and graduated with BSc Honours in Sports Injury and Rehabilitation at Middlesex University. Since then she has expanded her practice to Surrey/Berkshire/Hampshire and more recently Wiltshire.

Her career has taken her around the world treating in a variety of fields including a wide range of sports, from international to school, and professional to amateur in sports such as rugby, golf, athletics, American football, equestrian, tennis, squash, cricket, swimming, climbing, basketball, hockey, cycling, skiing, and running. Each demanding a different approach in the way the rehabilitation programmes required are implemented.

Ellen works alongside NHS physiotherapists helping to achieve the best care for NHS patients, in-particular patients who have undergone knee or hip replacements or suffer from chronic back pain. She has found her skills in hydrotherapy and massage invaluable when working with post-operative patients.

Ellen also continues to work with the MOD as a remedial instructor when called upon.

Ellen is a keen sportswoman herself and has played hockey at an international level. She is an avid skier and likes nothing better than being active outdoors in the water or on land.
